I think we need a purpose for everything we do in life.
A reason 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 than our willpower and durable thru any circumstance that we may encounter.
For a while, I have been struggling with trying to reach a healthy weight.
However, it seems that no matter what I try nothing seem to work. Something click in me, I found my Why. And that has made all the difference in accomplishing my goals.
I learned that your fitness is 100% MENTAL.
Your body doesn’t go where your mind doesn’t push you.
One day, I remember telling my sisters that I was thinking about giving up;
giving up on myself and my fitness goals. I felt like I tried everything but things didn’t seem to work for me.
My six-year-old daughter, who was quietly playing in her bedroom, must have heard what I said. Suddenly, she came to me and handed me a piece of construction paper. Somehow, she found old pictures of me, when I was younger and healthy. She created a collage for me – I was so shocked and impressed. My six-year-old little girl gave me a message of hope. She took me back in time to show me that I shouldn’t give up but
instead find my Why! ⁇
I am still far from my goal. On the other hand, I’m proud of what I accomplished so far.
It’s not so much about the pounds on the scale but about how the small changes have made a difference in how I feel.
I think God uses many ways to speak to us.
♬ Who knows how He’ll get a hold of us and get our attention; to prove He is enough. He’ll do. He’ll use whatever He wants to tell us: I love you.
That one time when I felt like giving up God used my daughter. ヅ
So I urge you, to find your WHY? ❀
Find your why on anything you want, in your business and personal life,
because that will mark all the difference. You’re why: will drive your passion and when the going gets tough you will not give up. Nonetheless, you will push yourself harder and find a way.
I cherish my daughter’s artwork. I even posted on my vision board as a reminder that my why will eliminate all excuses that will prevent me from reaching my goals.
That collage was eye-opening to me in rediscovering mine why. ❤
So, I’m doing things differently, especially on my fitness goals.
I’m by no means a nutritionist or a trainer, but I look forward to
sharing my progress with you, as a motivation.
It’s all about Empowering Real Beauty. A beauty that’s internal but then again external and in all aspects of life.
In the midst of it, find time to discover or revive you’re why because that will be the driving force behind everything. Knowing you’re why will help you determine just how.
